What you can rely on here, what you cannot, and what happens when something is wrong.
These terms apply to your use of searchscope.reviews, operated by Dorian Menard of Search Scope, Unit 1/48 McMillan St, Victoria Park WA 6100, Australia, ABN 15 319 579 846. Using the site means you accept them.
1. What the archive publishes
The site publishes review records: structured entries describing reviews that were published elsewhere or sent to us directly. Each record states its source and the date it was last checked against that source.
2. Quoted review text
Where a record shows a quoted extract, that extract is reproduced for the purpose of criticism, review and reporting, with the source and the author attributed on the record. Full review text is reproduced only where the reviewer has given permission, and the record says so when it has.
Copyright in the words of a review stays with the person who wrote it. Copyright in this archive, its structure, its classifications and its editorial summaries belongs to Search Scope.
3. No endorsement, no ranking
A record in this archive is not an endorsement or a criticism by SearchScope Reviews. The archive publishes no overall score, no star average and no ranking. Where a record is classified as positive, mixed or critical, that classification is our reading of the record and is labelled as ours.
4. Accuracy
Records are published as accurately as we can make them, and corrected when they are wrong. We do not warrant that a record is complete, that a source link still works, or that a figure a reviewer quoted is true. Figures inside a review are the reviewer's own and are not verified by us.
Nothing on this site is professional advice, and nothing here should be relied on as the sole basis for a commercial decision.
5. Conflict of interest
The archive holds records about its own operator and about businesses the operator owns. That relationship is disclosed on every page it affects. Read those records with the disclosure in mind.
6. Corrections and removal
The circumstances in which a record is corrected or removed are set out on the methodology page. In short: inaccuracy is corrected, a reviewer may have their own review removed, and an unfavourable record is not removed for being unfavourable.
7. Links to other sites
Records link to the platforms reviews were published on. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their availability or their terms.
8. Acceptable use
You may read, link to and quote from this archive with attribution. You may not scrape it in bulk, republish it wholesale, or present its records as your own.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from use of this site. Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction.
