Privacy policy
The short version: this site collects nothing from you. The long version is below.
Search Scope Reviews ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Dorian Menard, trading as Search Scope, a sole trader, of Unit 1/48 McMillan St, Victoria Park WA 6100, Australia, ABN 15 319 579 846. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What this site collects
Nothing, through the site itself. searchscope.reviews is a set of static pages. It has no contact form, no newsletter signup, no account system, no comment system and no payment facility. It sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser.
We run no analytics of our own: no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, and nothing we have added sends anything about your visit anywhere.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
Our host, Cloudflare, adds its own Web Analytics script to pages it serves from this domain. We did not put it in the page source and it is not part of what we built, but it is served to you, so it belongs in this policy rather than in a footnote.
Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as privacy-first: it uses no client-side state, so it sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser and does not fingerprint you or follow you between sites. It counts page views and reports aggregate performance, not individuals.
On this site it does not run at all. The Content Security Policy we serve permits scripts only from this domain, and Cloudflare's script is loaded from a different one, so your browser blocks it before it executes. The practical effect today is that no analytics data leaves your browser. We are stating the arrangement rather than relying on it: a header is a thin thing to rest a privacy promise on, and if that changes, this page changes with it.
Cloudflare's own handling of any data it does receive is covered by its privacy policy.
Site search
The search page runs entirely in your browser. The search index is a set of static files served from this site, and your query is never sent to a server or logged anywhere.
Fonts and other assets
Fonts, styles and images are served from searchscope.reviews. Nothing we author loads from a third-party content delivery network. The only off-domain request any page attempts is the Cloudflare script described above, and it is blocked.
Hosting logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to serve a page and to protect against attack, including your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user agent string. We do not use that data to identify you, we do not combine it with anything else, and we do not sell or share it. Cloudflare's own handling of it is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Personal information inside review records
Review records in this archive contain the reviewer's name or display name as it was published on the source platform, and may contain their role or the type of business they work in. That information was already published in public by the reviewer, or was sent to us directly by the reviewer for publication.
If you wrote a review held in this archive and you want the record removed, write to seo@searchscope.com.au and it will be removed. You do not need to give a reason.
When you email us
If you write to us, we hold your email address and the content of your message for as long as we need it to deal with the matter and to keep a record of how a correction was handled. We do not add you to any list.
Disclosure
We do not disclose personal information to third parties, except where we are required to by law, or to our hosting provider in the ordinary course of serving the site.
Our hosting provider operates servers outside Australia, so serving a page to you may involve your IP address being processed overseas. This is standard for any site behind a global content delivery network.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Write to seo@searchscope.com.au, or by post to Search Scope, Unit 1/48 McMillan St, Victoria Park WA 6100, Australia. We will respond within a reasonable period, normally 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your personal information, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au (opens in a new tab).
Changes to this policy
If the site ever collects something it does not collect today, this page changes first and the last updated date above changes with it. The Cloudflare section above was added on 17 September 2026 after the script was found in the served page, which is the standard this policy holds itself to: what is actually served, not what was intended.
